Head to Head
Teams Last 10
Pick 1: Bengals +5.5 (+100)
The Cincinnati Bengals play the role of underdog in this game but there is a lot to like about them as a value play against the spread. Especially after you factor in the turnover issues of Josh Allen and the Bills offense.
Allen has been a turnover machine this season as mental miscues are a constant theme during Bills games. Allen has 16 interceptions and six lost fumbles, accounting for 22 turnovers which is the most of any quarterback in the NFL this season.
In the Wild Card round against the Miami Dolphins, Allen’s turnover issues allowed Miami to come back into the game from a 17-0 hole. If Allen continues to give away the football, the Bengals are much better positioned to make them pay for their turnover issues. If Allen throws another interception or two, Burrow and the Bengals will be well positioned to earn a road upset in this matchup.

Pick 2: Stefon Diggs Over 70.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Diggs had a strong outing in the Wild Card win over the Dolphins, hauling in seven catches for 114 yards on the day. Yet his yardage total for Sunday against the Bengals is set at a reasonable 70.5.
Diggs cleared this number 11 times in the regular season and flew by the number against Miami. Always good for a long catch, Diggs should flirt with 100 yards once again against the Bengals if he receives his usual nine or so targets.

Pick 3: Ja’Marr Chase Over 84.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Despite catching passes from his third string quarterback, Tyreek Hill caught seven passes for 69 yards against the Buffalo Bills secondary last week. Those numbers bode well for Ja’Marr Chase going against Buffalo in a matchup where the Bengals will need to move the football through the air to match their opponents’ scoring.
Chase has cleared 85 receiving yards six times in a limited season due to a handful of injury absences. He also had 84 receiving yards last week against a stingy Baltimore Ravens defense on 12 targets. If Chase sees double digit targets again against the Bills, he should be good to clear his total.

Bengals vs Bills Preview
The fourth quarter could be crucial in this game and the numbers in the quarterback matchup are in favor of Burrow and the Bengals. Joe Burrow has a 70% completion rate and 11 touchdowns to two interceptions in fourth quarters this season. Josh Allen’s fourth quarter numbers are significantly worse with a completion percentage of 58% and just six touchdowns with four INTs.
One of the matchups to watch is the matchup between the Bills pass rush and the Bengals offensive line situation. Cincinnati lost Jonah Williams, La’el Collins and Alex Cappa to injury late in the season and could be exposed by the Buffalo pass rushing group. Williams and Collins are both listed as week to week but aren’t expected to play.
If the Bengals remain undermanned the backups must protect Burrow if they want to pull off this upset. Cincinnati is 0-3 in games where Burrow is sacked 5+ times but went 13-1 in games where the Bengals offensive line conceded fewer than five sacks.
Trend bettors will be intrigued by Joe Burrow’s January record. The Bengals quarterback has yet to lose in the month, holding a 6-0 record in his young career.
