Leg #1: Lions -10
The first leg of our Bears vs Lions Same Game Parlay for Thursday is for the Lions to cover the spread as 10-point favorites. Detroit is playing some of the best football in the NFL right now, winning nine straight games going into this NFC North rivalry matchup. But it is the way that the Lions have been winning that has us ready to lay a big number with them against the spread here.
Detroit has won by double-digits in four of their last five games, including a 10-point win at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers. Detroit has become a Super Bowl favorite thanks to how dominant they have been over the last couple of months. We expect them to continue to dominate in this matchup against a Bears team that is struggling to find its footing with Caleb Williams as its starting quarterback.
Leg #2: Jared Goff 250+ Passing Yards
Next up, we will take Jared Goff to throw for at least 250 yards. Bettors may have some understandable concerns about this leg of our parlay, as the game script for the Lions may lead to them running the ball while up big in the fourth quarter. But Goff has gone over this total in two straight games for the Lions, with both of those games being blowout wins for Detroit. Even if this game is decided early, Goff should air it out early in the game to help this leg hit.
Leg #3: David Montgomery Anytime TD Scorer
Finally, we will take David Montgomery to score a touchdown for the Lions in this contest. Montgomery enters Week 13 with 11 rushing touchdowns on the season, which is tied for the second-most in the NFL. That is also an average of one rushing touchdown per week for the Lions running back. While there is always some concern that Jahmyr Gibbs will steal Montgomery’s touchdowns, Montgomery should get the job done as the battering ram around the goal line.
