The Atlanta Falcons (4‑7) will visit the New York Jets (2‑9) on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. The Falcons are slight favorites heading into this game between two teams that don’t look likely to make the playoffs this year. Falcons vs Jets Odds
| Spread | Moneyline | Total |

Key Storylines
- The Falcons are coming off their first win in six weeks last week. They got a 24–10 win over the New Orleans Saints, which snapped a losing streak and at least keeps their faint playoff hopes alive. Their offense under veteran Kirk Cousins looked competent last week and they will look for a second straight road win in this contest.
- Atlanta will likely be without top receiver Drake London due to a knee injury, removing a major weapon from Cousins’ arsenal. That leaves tight end Kyle Pitts, running back Bijan Robinson, and the rest of the supporting cast to carry the offensive burden.
- For the Jets, offense remains a struggle, but Breece Hall continues to shine as a workhorse. With the Jets’ passing game is limited, Hall’s production could be New York’s best shot at staying competitive in this contest.
Quarterback Play
Kirk Cousins has reclaimed the starting job after the season‑ending injury to starter Michael Penix Jr. In last week’s win, Cousins completed 16 of 23 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns. That efficiency helped steady a shaky Falcons offense and gave them a spark.
For the Jets, Tyrod Taylor is getting the nod with Justin Fields being benched. Taylor’s season has been lackluster for the most part. Against a defense keyed in on stopping the run, New York’s chances likely depend on connecting on short throws and on Hall’s ability to get going on the ground.
Betting Trends
- The Falcons are 5-5-1 against the spread going into this contest.
- The Jets have gone 6-4-1 against the spread entering Week 13.
- The over is 6-5 in games featuring the Jets this season.
- Atlanta is 4-6-1 in the over/under market heading into Sunday afternoon.

Final Thoughts
This will be a close game and I think it is a game that will go over the total. The Jets have not been good on offense so far this season, but their defense has struggled and that has dragged them into some high-scoring games at times this year. These teams are both bad, but this game should be highly entertaining and competitive, with the over being my best bet from the Meadowlands.
