Last week, the Oregon Ducks scored the win of the weekend in college football, beating the second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in dramatic fashion at home. The Ducks made every big play they needed to make to win that game, while the clock ran out on Ohio State’s late comeback attempt. But in this game, the goal for Oregon is going to be to simply avoid a letdown after that huge win, as they should be able to beat Purdue convincingly as long as they don’t struggle with their focus.
Purdue Looks to End Losing Streak
Purdue has had a nightmare of a season, going 1-5 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers nearly completed an impressive comeback against Illinois in their last outing, but they lost 50-49 in overtime to prolong their misery for the year. It will be interesting to see if Purdue can build off of the performance their offense put together in that game, though facing Oregon is a much tougher task than facing the Fighting Illini.
