Pressure on Northern Illinois quarterback Ethan Hampton could be the norm in this game, something he did not see much of last week. Hampton threw for 328 yards and five touchdowns a week ago, throwing just two incompletions along the way. We should expect a lot better out of Irish quarterback Riley Leonard this week than we saw last week against Texas A&M. Leonard had just 158 passing yards against a tough A&M defense that was coached by Leonard's former head coach at Duke in Mike Elko. With worse players and no opposing coach familiarity to worry about this week, we should see Leonard air it out more successfully in front of a home crowd.
