Wright State Raiders
The Wright State Raiders won their third game in four tries earlier this week, when they blew out the Green Bay Phoenix. Wright State won that game by 32 points, in a game that was never close in the second half. Here, the Raiders will look for a second straight win in the state of Wisconsin, when they take on the Milwaukee Panthers.
In their win over Green Bay, Brandon Noel was unstoppable for the Raiders. He scored 32 points on 14/17 shooting, getting whatever he wanted in the paint in that game. This game will not be as easy for Noel and the Raiders, but he will be a key component for them here nonetheless.
Milwaukee Panthers
The Milwaukee Panthers enter Saturday on top of the Horizon League standings. They are 6-1 in conference play, and come into this game on a four-game winning streak. They will look to extend that streak against Wright State here, which could really help their seeding prospects looking a month and a half ahead to conference tournament time.
Milwaukee has had an excellent year so far thanks to their defense. They are allowing under 70 points per game on the year, ranking just outside of the top half in the country in defensive efficiency at Kenpom, which is good by Horizon League standards. If they can lock in on Noel in this game, the Panthers could very well be 7-1 in the Horizon League and building some margin over the rest of the conference.
