Grand Canyon wrapped up a great WAC Tournament with a dominant 84-66 victory in the championship game. The Lopes came into the conference tournament as the fourth seed and knocked off both the second and third seed to lift the trophy.
Since February 1st, the Lopes rank as the 112th best team in the nation, are 9-3 in their 12 games, and rare the 45th best offensive team. The Lopes can’t stop anyone as they are they rank 233rd in defensive efficiency.

Gonzaga Bulldogs – Oddly Under the Radar
Gonzaga went on a rampage at the end of the West Coast Conference season and that concluded with a dominant 77-51 victory over Saint Mary’s in the championship game. It was a great last two months of the regular season for the Bulldogs.
Over the last six weeks, Gonzaga ranks as the best team in the nation and they are 10-1 in those 11 games. The Bulldogs are the best offensive team and the are 78th in defensive efficiency.
Gonzaga is in the tournament for the 24th straight season and they have made at least the Sweet Sixteen for each of the last seven NCAA Tournaments.
