Where is the 2025 ACC Tournament Taking Place?
The 2025 ACC men’s basketball tournament will be held at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. North Carolina has become a common location for this tournament, as Charlotte joins Greensboro as a host site in the recent history of this event. With several ACC schools residing in North Carolina, that will create an interesting dynamic in terms of crowd support during this conference tournament.

2025 ACC Tournament Format and Schedule
The ACC Tournament is single elimination with seeding being determined by each team’s regular-season conference record. The top four seeds receive a double bye, meaning they advance directly to the quarterfinals. The 5-9 seeds earn a single bye, meaning they advance directly to the second round. Lastly, the 10-15 seeds will compete against one another in the first round, hoping to survive and advance their way through the tournament.
This tournament is taking place from Tuesday, March 11 to Saturday, March 15 in 2025. The Games will be televised across a combination of the ACC Network, ESPN, and ESPN2. The championship game on Saturday, March 15 will air on ESPN.

There has been a decent amount of parity among men’s basketball teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Although certain teams have made their way to the top of the standings, home-court advantage has seemed to be one of the most important factors in any given matchup. Duke Blue Devils
The Duke Blue Devils might be the best team not just in the ACC, but in the nation as well. Duke has the presumptive number-one pick in next year’s NBA Draft in Cooper Flagg. And with plenty of firepower around Flagg, the Blue Devils look like they can win a conference title and a national title over the next month or so. The only question for Duke will be whether the lack of experience for Flagg will slow him down in these big games.
Louisville Cardinals
Louisville finished the regular season with the longest active winning streak in the ACC. They won their final nine games leading up to the ACC Tournament, going 18-2 in conference play. After being arguably the worst power conference team in the country over the last few seasons, having Louisville near the top of college basketball again is refreshing. The Cards went 1-4 against ranked teams this season, though, which could be a concern late in this tournament.
Clemson Tigers
The Clemson Tigers went 26-5 in the regular season and could end up with a top-10 ranking going into the ACC tourney. Led by Ian Schieffelin on the interior, Clemson is hard to move around physically. That physicality will be a necessity if the Tigers are going to knock off the other top contenders in this conference in Charlotte.
