Last weekend at UFC Austin, Adrian Yanez fought Tony Kelley. This battle of the two Americans was won by Yanez. The 28-years-old said it was “great” to win over Kelley.
“This is an amazing moment for me,” Yanez said. He continued to say that he emotionally wanted to beat Kelley for some reason, Kelley’s comment and merely because he dislikes him.

“Dude, that was a lot of emotion. It was a lot of pure emotion, I just wanted to f**k this guy, man. I don’t like this guy. I honestly don’t like this guy, man,” he said.
Yanez also said that he heard bad things about Kelley and it was really that UFC staff told him to win the fight when he walked to the octagon.
“Not only because of the comments that he said, but because of what came before, and I heard a lot about him. It’s different when I’m walking down the halls and the UFC staff is telling me to f**k off,” he said.
The staff was mad and talked to Yanez to beat Kelley.
He stated that following the victory, he received numerous compliments and made many people happy, particularly the staff.

Kelley gives bad words toward Brazilian community
The hatred for Kelley started in May when Kelley left comments for Viviane Araujo during her fight with his girlfriend, Andrea Lee. Kelley claimed that Araujo poked Lee’s eyes during that fight.
“That’s what they’re going to do, they’re fu***ng dirty Brazilians, they’re going to cheat like this,” he said.
Despite the comment, Araujo won the fight against Lee. Afterward, the community immediately supported Yanez who fought Kelley in an upcoming fight.
Yanez not concerned about money following fight with Kelley
By knocking Kelley, Yanez climbed up to 15th place in the official UFC bantamweight rankings. The victory marks Yanez’s 10th winning streak and he begins to climb to the 135-pound fighter class.
Even though he was the winner, he admitted he had no problem talking with Kelley after the match. Responding to Yanez, Kelley said, “He doesn’t want to see me again and he knows it.”
Kelley insisted on having a rematch with Yanez, who agreed to it, and he told the manager to arrange it.
Yanez isn’t concerned about money for the rematch since his victory against Kelley earned him his sixth consecutive performance bonus in as many UFC fights.
Yanez said that Kelley’s talk is all nonsense and Kelley was mad before the fight started because Yanez told him he was going to knock him out.
“He was talking sh*t at the ceremonial weigh-ins, he was talking sh*t right after we were backstage and he got mad when I told him I was going to knock him out, he left and everything,” he said.
The battle was filled with Kelley’s chatter, and Yanez stated that every time he hit Kelley, he shut his mouth, implying that Yanez would not win the contest.
After the victory, Yanez received more funds from former UFC welterweight championship contender Gilbert Burns, who offered to pay him if Yanez could knock Kelley out.
