St. Louis Blues vs Dallas Stars Game 6 (DAL Leads 3-2)

Money Line: St. Louis+107/Dallas-127

Puck Line: St. Louis-255/Dallas+211

O/U: 5

Despite the St. Louis Blues getting 39 shots on goal to their 27, the Dallas Stars picked up the big win in Game 5 in St. Louis to take a 3-2 series lead back to Dallas. The Stars survived a Blues onslaught in the third period which saw the Blues get 15 shots on goal to Dallas’ five. Excellent goaltending from Ben Bishop and killing off all four of the Blues power plays is what helped Dallas get the win. Dallas now has a chance to head to the Western Conference Finals with a win today at home and with the way Bishop has been playing the last two games (55 saves on 58 shots), the Stars have a great shot at doing so. St. Louis was one of the hottest teams in hockey going into the second round, and the Stars have found a way to get the better of them in three of the last four games of this series. However, if the Blues can manage a victory today they will even up the series and force a decisive Game 7, which will give them back the home-ice advantage. The pressure is on Dallas to close the series out and St. Louis to avoid elimination, so I expect a great physical game that will come down to a goal in the final minutes or even overtime. I like Bishop and that tough Stars defense to help get them the win today and send them to the Western Finals.

St. Louis 1 – Dallas 2
