Why Bet the Stars:
✅ This series is back to featuring home ice advantage for the Stars, which means great things for them. Expect Dallas to take advantage now that the momentum has shifted back in their favor.
✅ Minnesota is still just a game above .500 on the road for the entire season, and they will prove that they are a mediocre road team again in this contest.

Minnesota Wild
The Minnesota Wild lost Game 4 of their series with the Dallas Stars, a game that would have put the Wild up 3-1 in the series had they won at home. Now, the Wild head back to Dallas, needing a win to avoid facing elimination in Game 6. To get that win, the Wild will lean heavily on goaltender Filip Gustavsson, who is off to a great start in this postseason.
Gustavsson is 2-1 in the playoffs so far, allowing under two goals per game. His team has been very impressed with how easy he makes goaltending look, and how he has contributed to the team since coming over from Sweden. But the Wild goalie absolutely must play well in this game to keep his team from the brink of elimination.
Dallas Stars
The Dallas Stars won a game that may not have been a must-win, but sure felt like one, in Game 4 against the Wild. They scored the first two goals of that game and never looked back, moving to within two games of moving into round two in the Western Conference. To get this game and take a 3-2 lead, the Stars are going to need their offense to come to play.
Offensive consistency has been so hard to come by for the Stars in this series, as they followed up a seven-goal performance in Game 2 with a one-goal showing in Game 3. They will need to set the tone early in this one to avoid giving Minnesota any belief that they can win on the road to lead this series.
