Los Angeles Rams Sports Betting Promo Codes & Bonuses
The Los Angeles Rams went from Super Bowl champions two seasons ago to one of the worst teams in the NFL last year. Injuries had a lot to do with that decline, and the Rams will hope that the offseason will help them get healthy and back into contention in the NFC. Los Angeles Rams Betting Preview
One of the more interesting teams from an NFL betting perspective this season is the Los Angeles Rams. This team went from Super Bowl winners to missing the playoffs, with injuries to their starting quarterback and All-Pro wide receiver preventing them from playing their best last season. But the question going into this season will be whether the return of those players will be enough to make them a playoff team again.

Key Additions: None
Key Departures: Jalen Ramsey, Bobby Wagner, Leonard Floyd
The Rams simply were not in a position to make any meaningful additions in the offseason. After going all-in to win the Super Bowl, they were in a terrible salary cap and draft position, which resulted in them losing several key defenders without being able to replace them. But the returns of Matt Stafford and Cooper Kupp will feel like key additions on offense, even if this team has a similar roster as last year on that side of the ball.

---|---|---|
Yards Per Play | 4.8 (T-29th) | 5.9 (T-3rd) |
Yards Per Rush Attempt | 4.0 (T-27th) | 3.7 (T-29th) |
Yards Per Pass Attempt | 6.6 (T-24th) | 8.2 (3rd) |

Turnovers | 23 (T-17th) | 23 (T-17th) |
The LA Rams were subpar offensively last year, but that will happen when you lose Matt Stafford and Cooper Kupp to injury at the same time. Both should be back this season, though the offensive line play for this team will be a concern once again. Whether the Rams’ returns will be enough to offset their suspect o-line will determine how this season ultimately goes.

The defense of the Rams is an interesting unit to handicap going into this season. On one hand, they should benefit from the returns on offense, as the Rams should be better at keeping the ball and allowing the defense to recover from one possession to the next. But losing Jalen Ramsey and the others that departed this offseason is a huge negative, and the Rams will need to overcome those losses to be competitive in the NFC West.
Positives & Negatives
On the positive side, the Rams should be a competent franchise on the offensive side of the ball once again this year, thanks in large part to Stafford and Kupp being back to lead them. Their backfield of Akers and Michel should benefit from those returns, to say nothing of their actual passing game. This offense will need to be great to overcome the losses this team suffered on defense, and it is in position to be great once again.
But the overwhelming negative for the Rams going into this season is the defense, which could really struggle in 2023. Losing one of the better cover corners in the sport is never a good thing, but losing players in the front seven on top of that is a huge concern.
2023 Los Angeles Rams Pick & Prediction: Over 6.5 Wins
This season win total bet should be pretty close either way, but we project seven wins for the Rams, and thus a slight over for the year. While this defense could struggle, it will benefit from the offensive issues of the Cardinals, and the potential regression of Geno Smith at quarterback in Seattle. The return of the Rams offense should help this squad get to the seven-win mark, even if it is not by much.
