Hawaii Betting Sites and Mobile Sportsbooks

There are a lot of beautiful and wonderful things about Hawaii. There are volcanoes. Beaches. Tons of beaches, actually. Lots of gorgeous wildlife and plants. There is also some really good coffee, pretty good beer, and all sorts of delicious fruits and vegetables.

One thing that is not in Hawaii and never will be is sports betting. There are no land-based casinos in Hawaii. Hawaii doesn’t need them. The state’s chief money maker is and forever will be travel and tourism.

Occasionally, an international cruise ship will swing by that has some casino gambling on board, but that is the closest that Hawaiians will ever get to such a thing at home.

There was one attempt to study sports betting shortly after PASPA was overturned in Murphy v. NCAA, but it went nowhere. Hawaii doesn’t even have a state lottery and does not participate in multi-state games like Mega Millions or Powerball.

If Hawaii ever passes sports betting legislation, it would be either the 49th or 50th state to do it. In other words, it will not happen.

How Do I Bet on Sports in Hawaii?

By flying to Vegas. That’s really about it as far as betting on sports legally goes. Hawaiians would have to fly to the mainland and be in a state that accepts sports wagers. Of course, Hawaiians could also go to Australia or an Asian country that allows betting.

The fact of the matter is that you’d have to go a long way to bet on sports. Just enjoy the sunshine, the beach, and the beauty instead.
