“A tradition unlike any other.”
The Masters certainly has the best catch phrase in golf. That catch phrase is well earned. The Masters is the season’s first Major, and takes place at the same location every year. The best players in the world are set to storm Augusta National with hopes of earning a green jacket.
The Masters is unique as it is the only Major to take place at the same course every year. While Augusta may not have the history of a St Andrews, The Masters makes it the most famous and iconic golf course in the world.

The Masters Predictions
The Masters is a friendly spot for a couple of things. First, Americans tend to do quite well in this tournament. 38 different Americans have accounted for 62 Masters wins since 1934.
Success breeds success at The Masters. There have been 17 repeat winners. Those 17 golfers account for 48 tournament wins.
When looking for an American that is a previous Masters champion, the arrow points in a clear direction for me.
Dustin Johnson +1600
Johnson has been a bit off the radar of late. He did not win any tournaments in 2021, and this has made his price slip to a more attractive place. His most recent tournament win was the 2020 Masters. He smoked the field with a five shot cushion to earn his first green jacket in that tournament. He set the tournament scoring record that year.
While Johnson does not have any recent wins to be a feather in his cap, in this case, it may be a good thing. Any recent tournament win would have driven his price down and not brought us the +1600 value we are currently getting.
Johnson recently put up a fantastic number on a big stage. In the final round of The Players Championship, he carded a scorching final round 63.
Johnson also had a good showing in the match play championship after that, setting himself up for a good run on a course where he always plays well.
Outside of his hiccup in 2021, we have to go all the way back to 2014 to find the last time Johnson finished outside the top 10 at Augusta.
Dustin Johnson Top 10 +165
That last tidbit lead us to another betting play on Johnson. He essentially lives in the top 10 at Augusta, and we are getting a moderate plus figure for that outcome.
