UFC 285 is set to be one of the biggest cards in the history of the promotion, thanks in large part to the return of Jon “Bones” Jones and his heavyweight title fight against Cyril Gane. As a result, betting on this massive card will draw plenty of interest. And there is some extra value to be had when doing so, as DraftKings Sportsbook has a superb UFC 285 promo up for grabs for new customers.
DraftKings UFC 285 Promo
The current DraftKings UFC 285 promo is their Bet $5, Win $150 offer. This promotion lets bettors place their first wager at DraftKings for $5 on the fight of their choice on the UFC 285 card. If that bet wins, DraftKings will pay out the winnings, along with an extra $150 in bonus bets. That means at least a 30/1 payout on one of the biggest fight cards in UFC history.
It will certainly be tempting to use this promotion on the main event fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane. However, a smarter strategy might be to place that original $5 bet on a heavy favorite to win their fight. That way, securing the $150 in bonus bets with a winning wager is more likely.

UFC 285 Main Event Preview
The UFC 285 main event between Jon “Bones” Jones and Ciryl Gane is a fascinating one for a number of reasons. Most notably because Jones is returning for his first fight in just over three years, but because he is also stepping up to the heavyweight division in the process. There is an argument to be made that he has yet to prove himself at this division to deserve this fight, but that argument could also be shouted down by simply saying “it’s Jon Jones.”
There are legitimate questions as to whether Jones is still the same all-time great that he once was, especially now that he is going to be dealing with a mountain of a man in Gane. Gane, meanwhile, still has questions to answer of his own after failing to reach the top of the mountain in his first title bout against Francis Ngannou. But all of those questions will be answered in the octagon on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
