Renegades-Roughnecks Series History
The Arlington Renegades (previously known as the Dallas Renegades) and Houston Roughnecks played against each other in the 2020 XFL season. The Renegades and the Roughnecks were both members of the XFL’s Western Conference, and they played each other twice during the regular season.
Their first meeting was on February 9, 2020, in Houston, where the Roughnecks defeated the Renegades 37-17. The second meeting took place on March 1, 2020, in Dallas, and the Roughnecks again won, this time by a score of 27-20.
The 2020 XFL season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so the Renegades and the Roughnecks did not have the opportunity to play each other again in the regular season or in the playoffs.
