The Champions League Round of 16 Leg 2 matches continue today with, a matchup that looked like it could have been the matchup of the Round of 16, and the matchup that probably has the least buzz this round. PSG returns to Parc de Princes with a 2-0 lead against a very injured Manchester United squad. FC Porto returns to Portugal looking to make up a 2-1 deficit as they host AS Roma.

FC Porto vs AS Roma

First Leg Result: AS Roma 2 – 1 FC Porto

Two second half goals by 19-year-old sensation Nicolo Zaniolo was all Roma needed to get a leg up in this Round of 16 clash. Porto got a massive away goal, in the 79th minute, to keep them very much alive as we head into Leg 2.

Preview: FC Porto has three victories, and two defeats, in their last five games which includes the Leg 1 result. Porto has also won three out of their last five home games having lost their most recent home match vs Portuguese leader Benfica. Roma has been on a four game winning streak, but fell in the Rome Derby, this past weekend, to Lazio. Their form in their last five road games has been just ok as they have amassed two wins, two losses and one draw. The last time these two teams played, in Portugal, was the 2016 Champions League qualifying stages where the final was 1-1.

Game Odds: FC Porto -104, Roma +255, Draw +250 O/U 2.5 goals (-108)

Porto has gone over 2.5 goals in four out of their last five games overall and four out of their last five at home. Roma has gone over in five straight games and five straight away matches as well.

Prediction: Porto 1 – 0 Roma

I think Porto is going to be on the offensive all game and get one second half goal to advance to the final eight in this tournament. If Porto gets an early goal we could see a high scoring affair, but I think it’ll take Porto 60 minutes to break through. Bet Porto and the under in this one.

PSG vs Manchester United

First Leg Result: Manchester United 0 -2 PSG

Preview: Since losing on the road to Lyon, on February 3rd, PSG has ripped off eight straight wins and have only conceded a goal in two of those encounters. PSG has one home loss all season when they were shockingly defeated by Guingamp n the Coupe De La Ligue quarterfinals. They have a goal differential of 45 this league season, at Parc des Princes, having scored 50 and conceding only five. Manchester United’s only loss, since December 16th, was the 2-0 loss in the first leg of this Round of 16 matchup. They have completely turned their season around since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and are currently in a nice position to get a Champions League spot for next season. United has eight wins in their last eight games on the road and haven’t lost since their last loss in December.

Game Odds: PSG -233, Manchester United +660, Draw +330 O/U 3 goals (+103)

PSG has gone under three goals four out of the last five games overall and three out of their last five home games. United has gone over three goals two games in a row, but that’s all in their last five games overall. On the road United has also gone over three goals just twice in their last five games.

Prediction: PSG 1 – 0 Manchester United

This matchup looked so good, on paper, a few weeks back, but injuries have completely changed how this one look. Manchester United will be missing six key players and PSG will be without Edinson Cavani and Neymar still. Kylian Mbappe will get a goal in this one, but that’s all I see. If you want to take a side in this one go with PSG, but the safe bet is under 3 goals.
