Premier League Betting Odds, Predictions & Best Bets – March 30th

Thankfully the long international break has come to an end and we have a full Premier League slate this weekend. Saturday has seven game in store with the game of the day being West Ham vs Everton. The match of the weekend will take place on Sunday when Tottenham travel to Liverpool for a date with the current league leaders.

With most teams having only seven matches remaining, and a few with eight, there are still plenty of battles in the table taking place. Liverpool currently are two points up, with one more game played, over second place Manchester City. Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are all separated by four points and will be battling for the final two Champions League spots. At the bottom of the table three teams are fighting to stay out of that last relegation spot currently occupied by Cardiff with 28 points. Just above Cardiff are Burnley and Southampton who both have 30 points.

Plenty of action this weekend, so here are my three best bets for Saturday’s Premier League games.

West Ham (+154) vs Everton

This is the game of the day, in the Premier League as West Ham, sitting in 9th place with 42 points, welcomes Everton, sitting in 11th place on 40 points, to London Stadium. Both team have some hope in grabbing that extra Europa League spot that may open up at the end of the year. West Ham are probably the most inconsistent, and frustrating, team in the league, but at home they are money. The Hammers have won three straight home games and are unbeaten in their last seven at London Stadium. They drew Liverpool and beat Arsenal in back-to-back home games during this run. Some may say Everton could take the most inconsistent, and frustrating, team in the league tag from West Ham, but I don’t think they have as much talent. Everton has lost seven of their last 10 road games with their only three wins coming against bottom of the table teams. West Ham haven’t lost a home game to Everton since 2015 and I expect that to continue Saturday. Take West Ham to get the full three points.

Burnley vs Wolves (+145)

Burnley are fighting for the Premier League lives being just two points clear of safety with one mare game played than Cardiff. The Clarets are currently on a four game losing streak and have lost back-to-back home fixtures. Wolves are currently one point ahead of Watford for seventh place in the league. Staying in that 7th spot is of upmost importance as there is a likely chance that spot will get a Europa League qualification spot. Wolves are in fine form have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five games overall. On the road they are in similar form with a win over Everton and a draw against Chelsea. They did have a bad loss at bottom of the table Huddersfield, but that seems to be just a blip. I think Wolves play with a sense of urgency and win this one 2-0. Back Wolves on Saturday.

Over 3.5 goals (-130): Fulham vs Manchester City

Fulham is currently 13 points behind Burnley to remain safe in the Premier League. With only seven games remaining they can start planning their trip back to the Championship especially with games against Man City, Wolves, Watford and Everton remaining. Fulham has lost seven in a row, and nine of 10, so Man City coming to town will not be a welcoming site. In those last 10 games the total has gone over 3.5 goals just three times. City are currently on an 11 game win streak and have won 14 out of their last 15. In those 11 straight wins the total has gone over 3.5 goals seven times. City should score three or four on their own, so take over 3.5 goals in this one.
