The Bundesliga still does not have a champion crowned, so all is still to play for in Germany over the last few weeks of action. Spots 4-9 are separated by just six points, so a lot of the European spots are still up in the air as well. The game of the day Saturday is Monchengladbach, who currently sit in 5th, host RB Leipzig who are currently in 3rd. The other big matchup is league leaders Bayern hosting 7th place Bremen. Plenty of good action still be played in the Bundesliga.
Here are my two best bets for Saturday’s action in Germany.
Monchengladbach (+200) vs RB Leipzig (+125) – Draw: (+275)
Borussia Monchengladbach host RB Leipzig in what is one of the top games in Europe this weekend. Monchengladbach has dropped form in their last 10 games having only gotten 12 points from those 10 matches. However, over their last five they having picked it up a bit getting eight points from those five. Monchengladbach have not won in five home games, but will look to get back on track against Leipzig. RB Leipzig are one of the hottest teams in Germany having won seven of their last ten games and all but securing third place in Bundesliga. On the road Leipzig have won seven games in a row, but I like Borussia Monchengladbach to win this one.
Bayer Leverkusen (-333) vs Nurnberg (+850) – Draw: (+475)
Leverkusen have gotten themselves into a heated battle for the last Europa League spot and sit just one point out of that 6th place position. Recent form have not helped Leverkusen as they have won just two of their last five games, but will be happy to see second from bottom Nurnberg on Saturday. Nurnberg haven’t won a road game since Halloween and have nine losses in their last ten away games. Leverkusen rolls.
