The Round of 16 continues Sunday morning in the World Cup when the defending champs, France, take on Poland. France was impressive in their group stage as they won Group D with six points. Poland was not impressive in their group stage games, but they still advanced after finished second in Group C with four points. Below is my soccer betting pick for France vs Poland.

Why Bet France -375
✅ France has been one of the more impressive teams in the group stage and I don’t see Poland being able to stop them.
✅ Poland is one of the two or three worst teams left in the tournament and they do not have the talent to compete with this French squad.
✅ France was able to rest their starters in the final group stage game, so they will be ready to go and fully fit.

France
Last time out, France concluded their group stage with a 1-0 loss to Tunisia. This game meant nothing to France, and they made 10 changes to their starting lineup in advance of the knockout stages. Still, Tunisia was impressive, and it was a well-deserved three points for the African side.
Tunisia scored the games only goal in the 58th minute when Wahbi Khazri put a strike in the bottom right corner of the net. It was an impressive solo run by the Montpellier man. France thought they tied it up at the death, but VAR ruled the goal out for offsides.
A loss, but nothing that will affect the French as we enter the Round of 16.
Poland
Poland finished off their lackluster group stage campaign with a 2-0 loss against Argentina. The Polish lack any bite in the offensive third and have scored just one impressive goal this World Cup.
The action started in the 39th minute when Lionel Messi drew a phantom penalty. The greatest of all time stepped up to the spot and missed his second penalty of this World Cup. Alexis Mac Allister broke the deadlock in the 46th minute with his first ever international goal. Julian Alvarez finished Poland off with a goal in the 67th.
Poland never looked like they were going to score in this game and that will be a problem as we enter the knockout stages.
