Most of the big European leagues have two months left in their regular season and there is still plenty to be figured out. Manchester City or Liverpool to win the Premier League? Who is going to get the Champions League spots in England, Spain and Italy? Are Villarreal and Schalke going to be relegated? The FA Cup quarterfinals also take place this weekend with six Premier League, and two Championship, teams remaining. The best matchup of the weekend is in Italy when the Milan Derby takes place, but there are plenty of betting angles out there this weekend and plenty of good soccer to watch.
Here are the three best bets for this upcoming weekend’s action. As usual we will have one favorite, one underdog and one game total for you to look at this weekend.
West Ham (-152) vs Huddersfield
London Stadium has been a nice sight for West Ham lately as they are currently on a six game unbeaten streak at home that includes drawing with Liverpool and defeating Arsenal. Huddersfield, on the other hand, has not won an away fixture in ten games and are dead and buried for the season. West Ham can still shoot for a seventh place finish, in the Premier League, and Huddersfield is preparing for the Championship, so all is to play for The Hammers. Take West Ham at -152 with confidence.
Huesca vs Alaves (+210)
This line is a very interesting one. Alaves is currently on a five game unbeaten streak and sit in fifth place on the La Liga table. A win against last place Huesca could put them one point behind Getafe for a Champions League spot. Huesca is in their best form of the season, but they still should not be this much of a favorite against a top of the table team. Start your Saturday morning off right with a nice plus money winner. Alaves at +210 is the pick in this game.
Over 3.5: Bayern Munich (-118) vs Mainz 05
Bayern get to take out some anger from their Champions League elimination on Mainz this Sunday. Bayern has been in great league form and have scored 5+ goals in two straight league games. At home they have gone over 3.5 total goals four out of the last five matches and Mainz have given up three goals, on the road two out of the last five road games. I think Bayern can cover this total themselves, so take over 3.5 goals.
