The English Premier League has three encounters on Sunday with plenty of implications in all three games. Everton hosts Manchester United with United currently occupying 6th place, but are just three points out of 3rd. Everton are currently in 10th, but are just three points out of 7th which will most likely be a Europa League spot. Arsenal host Crystal Palace with the Gunners currently occupying the final Champions League spot, but are just two points ahead of 6th place Manchester United. Finally, Cardiff, who are three points away from safety, host 2nd place Liverpool who are one point back of league leaders Man City.
Here are my two best bets for Sunday’s action in England
Everton (+220) vs Manchester United (+135) – Draw: (+250)
Everton looked to be in good form, coming off three straight victories, but an awful 2-0 loss at Fulham put a halt to any end of season joy. A win over Manchester United will surely make the Everton faithful very happy and they will have a great shot with the game being at Goodison Park. Everton are undefeated in their last three at home and are 4-4-2 over their last 10 at home. Manchester United have hit a lull at this point of the season having only gotten nine points in their last five Premier League games and also bowing out of the Champions League with very little resistance. The loss last week to Fulham makes me nervous, but I think Everton get the win on Sunday.
Arsenal (-189) vs Crystal Palace (+500) – Draw: (+375)
Arsenal seemed like a team that was going to bow out of the top four race in the Premier League, but with 22 points in the their last 10 games, and 10 in their last five, the Gunner currently occupy that 4th place spot and can jump into 3rd with a win on Sunday. Arsenal have been nearly unbeaten at home having gotten a full 30 points out of their last 10 home games. Crystal Palace will be the team looking to end that win streak and, surprisingly, they have been the second best road team in the league over their past five games. Regardless of the Crystal Palace recent road form, Arsenal gets the win.
