Cowboys Hoping For Better After Bye Week
This season, the Dallas Cowboys are 3-3 and in third place in the NFC East. Dallas comes into this game off of their bye week after they were demolished by the Detroit Lions in Week 6 when they were last on the field. For the Cowboys, things have not been good enough on either side of the ball, as Dallas ranks ahead of only the New York Giants and Carolina Panthers in point differential in the NFC at the time of this writing. Finding a way to move the ball consistently on the ground would be a nice place to start for the Cowboys, to take some of the pressure off of Dak Prescott and the passing game.
San Francisco In Need Of a Win
The San Francisco 49ers played in a Super Bowl rematch in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately for the Niners, the result was the same as the result from the Super Bowl, as Kansas City got the job done behind a dominant defensive performance. The Niners offense is missing so many talented players, with Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, and Brandon Aiyuk all missing valuable time. If San Francisco can’t get more of its stars back on the field for this game, they could be looking at a second straight loss and a fall to 3-5 for the season.
Cowboys vs 49ers Best Bet
This Cowboys vs 49ers game should be an interesting one, as both of these teams have such high ceilings but have had such a hard time reaching their full potential. We will take the under in this matchup, as the lack of skill position health for the Niners will continue to hold them back. Meanwhile, the lack of a consistent running game for the Cowboys will allow the San Francisco pass rush to pin its ears back to help hold Dallas in check.
