Can Browns Deliver On Short Week?
The Cleveland Browns come into Week 14 with a short week of rest to look forward to. After a Monday Night Football matchup against the Denver Broncos, Cleveland will be asked to hit the road for the second week in a row, with one less day to prepare for the Steelers. It will be interesting to see how the Browns handle that situation, as they look to complete a regular season sweep of the Steelers.
In their first matchup with the Steelers this season, the Browns overcame three turnovers to come away with a victory at home in the snow. They were also held to just 85 rushing yards by the Pittsburgh defense. Cleveland will need to be better in both of those areas if they are going to come away with a second win against the Steelers this season.

Cleveland did a good job of that at home against the Steelers, giving up just one sack in that game. If they can protect Winston in this contest, the Browns could very well sweep the Steelers, who appear to be headed toward the postseason this year.

The Pittsburgh Steelers played a highly-entertaining game in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals, winning a high-scoring showdown on the road to improve to 9-3 on the year. The Steelers offense did a great job of bouncing back from their loss to the Browns, scoring time and time again to get the better of the Cincinnati defense. This week, Pittsburgh will look for another strong offensive showing to avenge their loss to Cleveland from earlier in the season.
Week 13 against the Bengals was Russell Wilson’s finest performance since joining the Steelers in the offseason. He threw for well over 300 yards, overcoming a pick-six in the first quarter to tear up the pass defense of the Bengals. After struggling in the snow against Cleveland, Wilson’s performance will be something to watch in this game from Acrisure Stadium.
Also worth watching will be the defense of the Steelers, which had its share of struggles against the Bengals, but ultimately made the plays they needed to make to win that game. Pittsburgh’s pass rush is always dangerous, but their secondary came through with a fourth-quarter interception of Joe Burrow to help them seal that game. After struggling to bottle up Jameis Winston in the second-half in Cleveland, that secondary needs to come through with more big plays in Week 14.

Our best bet for Browns vs Steelers is for the Pittsburgh Steelers to win and cover the spread as a home favorite. The Steelers outplayed the Browns for most of their game in Cleveland recently, though the Browns won on the scoreboard thanks to some clutch plays from Jameis Winston. Here, we expect more mistakes from Winston in Pittsburgh, as the Steelers should improve to 5-1 at home.
