Adrian Yanez vs Davey Grant Betting Preview
After a couple of unexpected KO wins for Davey Grant, he now faces the other side of the coin for a fighter scoring wins like he did. He was handily beaten by Marlon Vera in his last fight, and likely faces a similar loss in this fight. While Grant made it the full 15 with Vera, who is more than happy to grapple more often, his opponent will keep this fight standing for the duration. While Grant is a solid fighter and striker overall, this matchup is another that is levels above his station.

Adrian Yanez is an extremely exciting up and coming striker. He truly has something extra on his strikes, and puts opponents away somewhat easily. Yanez has four KOs in four UFC appearances. He has at least one knockdown in every fight, and five in total. I am unsure whether Grant would qualify as the most difficult fight Yanez has had to date, but I would deem him the most durable. With that said, if looking at the list of Grant’s previous opponents, there is simply no one that has nearly the power in the hands that Yanez brings. The sleep touch Yanez has on his strikes simply cannot be understated.
As a whole, Grant will have to take this loss and level back down to the types of fighters he should be facing. Simply put, Yanez is levels above and still ascending. While it is always a bit off putting to bet on a fighter to be knocked out for the first time in their career, that is likely the case for Grant. Yanez ITD is our play.
