Redblacks vs Lions Betting Preview
Both these teams come into this one off double-digit losses. While you expect that from Ottawa, you don’t really expect that out of British Columbia, who appear to have taken a step backwards after their previous game. Ottawa does have the worst record in the league at 3-10, but have played one fewer game than 4-10 Edmonton and Hamilton. Still, the Redblacks have pulled off a few upsets this season and have been a better road team, going 3-3, while losing all seven games in front of the home fans.

Nick Arbuckle has had a rough season at quarterback for the Redblacks, throwing just three touchdown passes against 13 interceptions. In last week’s 45-15 loss to Toronto Arbuckle threw two more picks, but backup Caleb Evans threw three in just 17 attempts, as Ottawa lost by 30 despite holding a 442-361 yardage advantage, but six turnovers were too much to overcome.
Vernon Adams struggled for the Lions, going 12 of 24 for 151 yards. He didn’t make any turnovers, but just couldn’t move the team against Calgary’s defense. The Stampeders did a good job controlling the football, with nearly 35 minutes of possession, limiting the opportunities the Lions had.
The British Columbia defense was decent, as it has been most of the season, but they do need the offense to do a little bit more and not leave them on the field for extended periods of time. The Lions did allow three runs of 19 or more yards, so they need to do a better job limiting the big plays.

Redblacks vs Lions Pick & Prediction
The Lions gave up a lot to get Adams and so far, their investment hasn’t been worth it, but in pro football, you’re only as good as your last game, so this is a chance for British Columbia to come out and put some points on the scoreboard. A big game from Adams would quiet some of the critics and signal the team can’t be overlooked in the postseason.
