Tiger-Cats vs Argonauts Betting Preview
While this game is for first-place in the East Division, it’s not quite as exciting as it may sound. The Argonauts are leading the division with a 3-3 record, while Hamilton is tied for second place with a 2-5 record. Still, it’s a big game for both teams and probably is a little more meaningful for the Tiger-Cats.
Hamilton picked up its second win of the season against Montreal last week, using a final play interception to seal the victory. They did play backup quarterback Matthew Shiltz quite a bit last week and the TigerCats are likely to give him some playing time again this week. He’s more mobile than starter Dane Evans, who is the better passer of the two.
The Argonauts came crashing down to earth last week after picking up a pair of wins over Saskatchewan, losing to previously winless Ottawa. The Argos were outgained 399-373, so you would have expected a few more points to be scored, but Toronto was held scoreless in the second half.
This is the first of four meetings over the next five weeks between these teams, so it’s a little difficult to predict if the teams will hold anything back and be a little conservative or if they’ll pull out all the stops and give the opposition some different looks and something to prepare for in the next few weeks.

Tiger-Cats vs Argonauts Pick & Prediction
An interesting game from a betting standpoint, as these two teams appear pretty evenly matched on paper and the fact that they’ll meet four times in five weeks needs to be taken into consideration. Hamilton received a boost from Shiltz last week and Evans is supportive of his backup getting some playing time, which goes a long ways.
Neither team has a big win, but as long as they can take care of business against the rest of the East, they’ll find themselves in the playoffs.
