Ottawa Redblacks vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats Betting Preview
The CFL has a battle of the only two undefeated teams on Friday and on Saturday, there’s a battle of the only two winless teams in the league, when the Ottawa Redblacks visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Ottawa was bad last season, but the Redblacks made some moves in the offseason that had some people expecting a big turnaround. That hasn’t been the case, as the Redblacks resemble the team we saw last season in many areas. Jeremiah Masoli has just two touchdown passes in four games this season and he’s a better quarterback than that.

Hamilton’s Dane Evans has thrown for nearly the same number of yards as Masoli, but has five touchdowns, although he’s been picked off eight times, while Masoli has been intercepted twice.
The Tiger-Cats haven’t run the ball very well this season, while the same can be said for Ottawa. But CFL teams who are behind most of the game can’t really afford not to throw, which is why Evans is also the Tiger-Cats’ leading rusher with just 65 yards on the ground.

Ottawa Redblacks vs. Hamilton Tiger-Cats Pick & Prediction
These two teams are pretty even in the statistics, which isn’t all that surprising considering their identical records. For the season, the Tiger-Cats have scored seven more points than Ottawa, while the Redblacks have allowed 18 fewer points.
Both teams have played most of the league heavyweights and haven’t really had the opportunity to play some of the weaker squads, at least until this week when they’re getting the chance to play another squad in search of its first victory.
Hamilton’s biggest edge here is home field advantage, but have no interest in laying 6.5 points with a team that hasn’t been able to break into the winner’s column yet this season.
Pick: Ottawa +6.5
