Brazil to Dominate Group G
Any casual follower of the World Cup would expect Brazil to be the tournament favorite of every tournament without a question. And those casuals would be right as the Brazilians have been amongst the contenders at every tournament since 1970.

Serbia has the opposite track record of Switzerland in major tournaments, failing to get out of the group stage in their three appearances. However, there is optimism this is the tournament where the nation will finally see a breakthrough into the Round of 16.
The Serbians boast one of the best goalscorers in the Premier League in Aleksandr Mitrovic of Fulham. Mitrovic scored 43 goals in the Championship last season to promote Fulham into the top flight, where he has scored nine goals in 12 matches in nine games this season.
Mitrovic will be joined by big money Juventus transfer Dusan Vlahovic up front to give Serbia one of the best pairings of traditional forwards in the tournament on paper. Unfortunately for them, both of their leading stars head to Qatar with injury concerns that are likely to be a factor for at least one of the two, if not both players.
The limited window between domestic club play and the start of this tournament really impacts Serbia’s outlook. If Mitrovic and Vlahovic are healthy enough to play, they have a great chance of beating Switzerland to advance. Expect them to potentially rest both stars in their opening match against Brazil before going all out against Switzerland and Cameroon to advance.

Cameroon to Bring Goals
Cameroon have minimal expectations to advance further than the group stage. However, they should bring out plenty of entertainment and a few goals while they are in Qatar.
Cameroon scored 14 goals at the 2021 African Cup of Nations, five more than the next closest nation. Bayern striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is also a player to watch as he is in the form of his life, surprising the footballing world by replacing Polish superstar Robert Lewandowski with ease and scoring 11 goals in all competitions before the World Cup break.
