Key Storylines
- The Cleveland Browns lost by a point in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals. A missed extra point ultimately cost them the game and Cleveland will try to avoid an 0-2 start against division opponents with a loss in this game.
- Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson combined for five total touchdowns in Week 1 for the Ravens and that wasn’t enough in a 41-40 loss against the Buffalo Bills thanks to a furious four-quarter comeback by Buffalo. Baltimore has to step it up on defense in this contest.
- We saw the Ravens lose as a huge favorite early in the season against the Las Vegas Raiders last season. Baltimore cannot afford to take this game for granted even if they are heavy favorites to get the win.
- The Ravens have found a suitable replacement at kicker for Justin Tucker. Tyler Loop had a good game kicking in his debut with the Ravens and his continued success would be a huge boost for Baltimore.
Quarterback Play
- Lamar Jackson was electric in Week 1 for the Ravens. He had over 200 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown against the Bills. He will be expected to put up a big game against the Browns this week and will hope that his defense doesn’t hang him out to dry again.
- Joe Flacco opened the season with a typically unpredictable Joe Flacco performance. He threw for 290 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. The lack of a solid running game in Week 1 made things tougher than they needed to be for Flacco against the Bengals.
Betting Trends & H2H
- These teams are both 1-0 against the spread heading into Week 2.
- The Ravens went over the total in their season opener.
- Cleveland stayed under the total in their first game of the 2025 season.
- The Ravens lead the all-time series against the Browns by a 35-17 margin.
- These teams have split their season series in four straight seasons.

Final Thoughts
The defense for the Ravens struggled down the stretch against the Bills. But this is a great spot for the Baltimore defense to get right against a quarterback in Flacco who is past his prime. Jackson will continue to make magic on offense for Baltimore and the Ravens should be able to bounce back and cover the big number in this contest.
