Tigers Woods 2024 Masters Odds
At this point in time, Tiger Woods’ Masters odds are not good. He has been dealing with some injuries and is not at his best physically, which has made him one of the longshots to win the tournament. When you compare Woods’ odds to win the tournament with the rest of the field, he is certainly far away from the favorites like Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Jon Rahm. Around his price are golfers like Louis Oosthuizen and Russell Henley. While those are respectable names, they are not names that are expected to come away with the championship at Augusta National this year either.

Woods withdrew from The Genesis Invitational in February of this year, though that was said to be due to illness rather than anything related to his past injuries. Still, there are questions about whether his past injuries will derail Woods at Augusta once again this year, as the physical demands of that course are greater than most.
Woods withdrew from last year’s Masters tournament due to some grueling playing conditions brought on by inclement weather. His plantar fasciitis was an issue during a period of time where he had to play over two rounds worth of golf in a day in order to continue his tournament. If he can avoid a situation like that again this year, he could at least make it through the tournament and give himself a chance to compete.
With that said, it is highly unlikely that Woods can compete with players who are simply playing more golf and better golf than he is right now. The goal for this year’s Masters is more for Tiger to simply stay on the course for 72 holes than it is to win the event. But as we learned in 2019, there is certainly no counting Woods out as he attempts to prove everyone wrong once again.

Five of those major titles have come at The Masters, where he is one of the most successful competitors in tournament history. Woods has won this event in 1997, 2001, 2002, 2005, and 2019, with only Jack Nicklaus’ six Masters titles exceeding Woods’ tally.
Woods’ 1997 Masters title was the best performance in the history of the tournament at the time, as he set the record for the best score to par at 18-under.
