The Oregon Ducks will go east to Kinnick Stadium to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday. Oregon has one loss this season and is ranked in the top 10 going into this week. Key Storylines
Oregon boasts one of the most feared offenses in the country and one of the strongest single‑season resumes in the country this year. Their only loss came to an Indiana team that is now ranked second in the country and they’ve dominated lesser teams. But a loss here would make it very difficult for Oregon to find its way into the College Football Playoff without much time remaining to impress the selection committee.
Iowa enters this game off its bye week after destroying Minnesota 41-3 on October 25. The Hawkeyes will hope to be refreshed, confident, and ready to play excellent defense against another Big Ten opponent. The question for Iowa will be whether or not they can make enough plays offensively to get a victory at home against a very good opponent.
Quarterback Play
Dante Moore is having a standout season for Oregon. He has completed 145 of 203 passes (71.4 %) for 1,772 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. He will have his hands full against one of the best defensive programs in college football this week. Iowa’s Mark Gronowski is limited in terms of his ability to throw the football. But he has 11 rushing touchdowns and is a consistent threat to break containment and make plays with his legs.

Final Thoughts
My impression of this game is that Oregon has the advantage despite being on the road. But I don’t think their advantage is by some massive margin. I think this game will be decided by somewhere around a touchdown. More importantly, I think we are in for a low-scoring game that will land under the total when all is said and done.
