Key Storylines
- Maryland is 3-0 to start the season. They have beat up on inferior competition through three weeks, defeating FAU, Northern Illinois, and FCS Towson. This will be their first real test of the season and it will be interesting to see where the Terrapins are as a team.
- Wisconsin suffered their first loss of the season last week against Alabama. There is no shame in losing to the Crimson Tide, even in the post-Nick Saban era. The question will be how Wisconsin responds to that loss in a game they will be expected to win.

Maryland’s Malik Washington has shown a live arm and has played well in his first three weeks as the Terrapins’ starter. He is going to face the best defense he has seen this season and will try to pass his first big road test.
Wisconsin’s Danny O’Neil struggled in his first real test against Alabama last week. He was held to 117 passing yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He has averaged under 200 passing yards per game. The Badgers’ top priority is usually to run the ball. But O’Neil needs to be more dangerous through the air to allow the Wisconsin running game to operate at its best.

I don’t think they will, as their lackluster passing game will let Maryland key in on the run in a game that should be decided by a touchdown or so.
