The team that can best manage its pitching staff during a long day of baseball could be in the best position to come away with a win in this second matchup of the day.

It will be Brad Lord getting the start for the Nationals in this second game. Lord has a 4.82 ERA going into this matchup, which could be a problem heading into the hitter-friendly conditions of Coors Field. But with Lord not expected to go deep in the game, it will be interesting to see how the Nats handle their bullpen after already playing a game before this one.
