Key Storylines
- Hamilton still holds the top spot in the East despite a two-game losing streak before their bye week.
- Toronto ranks second in the CFL in points per game on offense. But their defense has been so bad that they are still 3-8 despite lighting up the scoreboard. They have to clean things up on defense if they want any chance to turn their season around.
- The Argonauts have a bye week coming up and they can afford to empty the tank in this contest knowing that they have an extra week to recover after this game wraps up.
Quarterback Play
- Toronto: Nick Arbuckle leads the CFL in passing yards with 3,476 and ranks second in TD throws with 20. He has eclipsed 300 passing yards in each of his last five outings with only two interceptions. Last week against B.C. he posted 430 yards and 3 TDs with zero picks. That version of Arbuckle would be great for the Argos to have this week.
- Hamilton: Bo Levi Mitchell is coming off a bye week after a sub-par outing in Saskatchewan. He managed only 201 yards passing with two picks and no TDs in that game. That ended his streak of four straight 300-yard games. BLM is 4-0 coming off a bye and his offense has averaged 35 PPG in those games.
Betting Trends & H2H
- Hamilton won the first meeting between these teams this season. The Ti-Cats beat the Argos 51-38 in Toronto in Week 5.
- Hamilton is 6-4 straight up but just 4-6 against the spread on the season.
- Toronto is 3-8 straight up and 4-7 against the spread.

Final Thoughts
We should see plenty of offense between these teams once again after their track meet back in Week 5. Both quarterbacks have done a great job of moving the ball through the air this season. That should continue on both sides. But I’m going to lay the points with the Ti-Cats in this game, as their superior defense makes them more well-rounded than the Argos at this point in time.
