- Hamilton’s offense ranks first in the league at 30.3 points per game. Quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns in the Ti-Cats’ two-point loss to Toronto last week.
- The Tiger-Cats have struggled defensively. They are allowing approximately 385 yards and nearly 29 points per game.
- Montreal is returning from a bye week and is dealing with quarterback instability. They have been on their fourth quarterback recently and will try to figure things out without Davis Alexander once again.

- Montreal – James Morgan: Will the fourth-string QB play again for the Alouettes? He completed 18/33 for 198 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INTs in his first start. Inexperience and limited protection could put him at a disadvantage against Hamilton’s aggressive defense.

Hamilton’s high-octane offense and Montreal’s quarterback issues should lead to the Tiger-Cats covering the spread as a road favourite. This would probably be a better game if both teams had healthy quarterbacks. But that is not the case and I think that even the struggling defense of the Ti-Cats will be able to string together enough stops to win this game by more than a field goal.
