If the Mercury are going to win this game, their guards will need to continue to be spectacular from a scoring standpoint. Kahleah Copper, Diana Taurasi, and Natasha Cloud have formed an elite guard trio. That has been enough to make the Mercury competitive despite their shortcomings in the frontcourt, but that could change if the guard production on this team drops off at all.

Last time we saw the Minnesota Lynx, they dropped a game at home to the Las Vegas Aces. Home games have been an issue for Minnesota basketball teams across the board this week, between that game and the Timberwolves being eliminated from the Western Conference Finals at home on Thursday. But the Lynx have a great chance to break that streak and get a win at home to stay in the top-four in the WNBA standings.
The Lynx should be able to take advantage of their considerable edge in the paint in this Mercury vs Lynx contest. Dorka Juhasz is back on the floor for Minnesota.
