The Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces will meet in Game 5 of their WNBA semifinal series on Tuesday night. The Aces have home-court advantage going into this series finale and are the favorites to advance to the WNBA Finals. The Phoenix Mercury are waiting for the winner of this matchup. Before tip-off from Las Vegas, continue reading to get my Fever vs Aces Game 5 prediction.
Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|
Aces –8 | Aces –345 / Fever +275 | 158.5 |
The Fever and Aces met three times in the regular season. Indiana won two of those matchups. In this semifinal series, the teams are tied 2–2. Both teams have stolen a game on the road in this series thus far and Indiana will try to do so again in this deciding game.
The Aces have been favored in all four games of this series so far. Both teams have gone 2-2 against the spread in the series. The team that has won each game of the series has covered the spread and it will be interesting to see if that remains the case in this winner-take-all Game 5.
Player | Prop |
|---|---|
A’ja Wilson | Over 25.5 points |
Kelsey Mitchell | Over 21.5 points |
Aliyah Boston | Over 9.5 rebounds |
Jackie Young | Over 16.5 points |
Score Projection: Indiana 77 – Las Vegas 88
Win Probability: Indiana 36%, Las Vegas 64%
While the Indiana Fever have shown heart, defied expectations, and earned their way to a Game 5, the Las Vegas Aces should take care of business at home tonight. Vegas' health, home-court advantage, and championship experience should all work in their favor here. And having the best player on the planet certainly won't hurt Vegas either. I'll lay the points with the Aces, as they should move on to face the Mercury for the WNBA championship.
