The 2025 Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway is set to be run on Sunday afternoon. This race promises an intense short‑track race consisting of 350 laps of racing. This is NASCAR’s second year at this 7/8‑mile asphalt oval and the competition is packed with drivers looking to earn a critical victory before the playoff cut-off. Here, I break down this race and give you my Iowa Corn 350 prediction for this weekend’s action.

Iowa Corn 350 Preview
Iowa Speedway’s track features progressive banking in the turns and tight straights. It is a layout that favors drivers with precision and patience in traffic. The inaugural Cup race at this track in 2024 went to Ryan Blaney. Blaney led the final 88 laps to secure that victory. This year’s field includes familiar contenders and multiple entrants seeking a breakthrough.
Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin are the co-favorites to win this race. Christopher Bell and Ryan Blaney are just behind them in the odds to claim the checkered flag. There are just five drivers inside of +1000 to win this race but anything can happen on the track and there is no guarantee that one of those favorites will come out on top.

Iowa Corn 350 Prediction
My best bet for the Iowa Corn 350 in 2025 is Denny Hamlin. Hamlin comes into this race in fourth place in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. He has finished in the top-five in two straight races and three of his last four. That includes a victory in Dover a couple of races ago. While he is the co-favorite in this race, I think he still carries some value given how good he has been over the last month or so on the track.
Hamlin finished in 24th place in this race last year. He did not complete the race, only making it through 348 of the 350 laps. But as long as he doesn’t wreck down the stretch this time, I think Hamlin has a great shot this weekend.
Those looking further down the odds board for this race might find Chase Elliott interesting at +1100. Elliott finished in the top-five at this event last year. While there is no guarantee that he will do the same this time around, I think he certainly has a chance to ride another strong showing to a win in this year’s race.
