Coke Zero Sugar 400 Preview
This race is 400 miles over 160 laps on the 2.5-mile tri-oval of Daytona. This race is the final chance for drivers to punch their ticket into the playoffs. There are no practice sessions scheduled for the week. That means qualifying results and drafting strategy will be more important than ever.
Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, and Austin Cindric are all from Team Penske. They are the favorites to win this race. All three finished in the top five at Richmond last weekend. Blaney delivered a third-place finish, Logano recovered to fourth after starting deep, and Cindric crossed fifth. They are driving well heading into Daytona. Austin Dillon’s surprising win at Richmond locked him into the postseason and we could see other drivers near the bubble drive with a similar sense of urgency here.

Coke Zero Sugar 400 Prediction
Austin Cindric stands out as a name worth backing on Saturday night. With a Daytona 500 win in his résumé and consistent results on superspeedways, I think his body of work on this track is enticing here. His recent race at Richmond with a fast Team Penske lineup behind him only furthers my confidence in him.
Logano and Blaney are also worth taking a look at in this race. Backing the three of them and hoping that one of them wins would net you a nice profit if one of those Penske drivers found a way to win. There will be plenty of suspense all over the track in this race as there are playoff implications on top of the chance to win this race individually. I think Cindric will win, but every single driver will need to watch out for The Big One if they want to drive to Victory Lane.
