- Hawai‘i’s momentum: The Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors are coming off a Week Zero win via walk-off field goal against Stanford. Hawai‘i enters this week battle-tested in high-pressure situations. But being at home against Stanford and on the road against Arizona are two very different challenges.

Micah Alejado brings energy to Hawai‘i’s run-and-shoot offense after a strong finish last season. He threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns against Stanford but could be hampered by an injury despite suiting up. Arizona’s QB will be Noah Fifita to start the season. Fifita had a great end to the 2023 season for Arizona but was far less efficient in 2024. He will look to reclaim his form in the 2025 campaign in Week 1.

I’m a believer in Noah Fifita and the Arizona Wildcats offense. They should get the better of the Hawai’i defense even with the Rainbow Warriors playing well on defense at home against Stanford last week. I recommend laying the points with Arizona here as the loss of Tetairoa McMillan isn’t going to be as damaging to the Arizona offense as some may want you to think.
