Key Storylines
- Quarterback Play: Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green has been a standout performer, passing for over 500 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions in the Razorbacks’ recent games. He has over 1,900 passing yards in total for the season. He will try to keep Arkansas’ offense in rhythm after they scored over 40 points against Texas A&M in their last game. Jackson Arnold has struggled at quarterback for Auburn. He failed to throw a touchdown pass in the Tigers’ double overtime loss to Missouri in their last game.
- Defensive Struggles: Both teams have faced challenges on defense. But Arkansas has been especially weak on that side of the ball. Arkansas concedes 32.7 points per game, ranking them among the worst in the SEC. They need to clean things up on that side of the ball if they want to get into the win column in conference play.
- Something Has to Give: Both of these teams are winless in the SEC this season. But one of them has to win here. It will be interesting to see which team makes the winning plays necessary to get the win.

Final Thoughts
This game is a genuine chance for both of these teams to finally get into the win column in the SEC. As far as which team will do that, I lean toward Arkansas. The offense of the Razorbacks has been more explosive than that of Auburn and I think that and home-field advantage will push Arkansas over the top in this battle of two of four teams without a win in SEC play going into this week.
