Key Storylines
Recent form
Saskatchewan is the league’s best team at 8-1. The Roughriders have the best scoring defense in the CFL at 20.3 points per game through Week 11. They are riding a four-game winning streak since a 24-10 loss at home to Calgary in Week 6. They will look to avenge that loss against a Calgary that is sitting at 6-3.
Calgary got a 28-27 over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Vernon Adams Jr.’s return to the field after he missed a game due to injury. Both of these teams are largely healthy going into this important matchup and will look to make a statement of intent in the West division race.
Quarterback play
Trevor Harris is back from injury and gives the Roughriders offensive stability at quarterback. He is fourth in the league in passing yards despite missing a game this year. He is tied for third in passing touchdowns with 16.
Vernon Adams Jr. is orchestrating Calgary’s dynamic offense. He has also missed time this season but has thrown for over 2,000 yards and there was a clear difference in the quality of the Stamps’ offense with Adams and without him.

Final Thoughts
We should see a tight game between the top two teams in the West here. The return of Vernon Adams Jr. gave the Stamps a huge boost offensively in their last game. But I’m not sure that will be enough for the Stampeders to get a win in this contest against the best defensive team in the CFL. I’ll take the Riders to win this pick ’em contest on the road.
