Steve Erceg vs Ode Osbourne Preview
Steve Erceg is 12‑4 as a pro and ranks at #10 in the flyweight division. He’s coming off three straight losses to elite opponents: Brandon Moreno, Alexandre Pantoja, and Kai Kara‑France. Erceg faces a different type of challenge here. He is not fighting as good an opponent as those three opponents he just lost to. But he is also moving up a weight class and it will be interesting to see how he does with that change.
Ode Osbourne enters this fight at 13‑8 (1 NC) and enters hot off a second‑round TKO win over Luis Gurule in April. That win snapped a three‑fight losing streak for the Jamaican. Osbourne is a high-risk and high-reward fighter. He has earned finishes in 10 of his 13 career wins in professional MMA. But he has also been finished in six of his eight losses. Osbourne’s aggression could be a blessing or a curse on any given night in the octagon.

Steve Erceg vs Ode Osbourne Prediction
We should be in for a fight between two very different styles of fighter here. Osbourne is a fighter who wants to end things early and seek finishes however he can get them. Erceg is willing to finish opponents as well but is more than content to pick them apart and earn decision victories if that path is more readily available.
I think that the more patient approach from Erceg will suit him well in this fight. I expect him to wait for opportunities where Osbourne overcommits to doing damage and then to pick his spots to do damage of his own. My best bet for this fight is for Erceg to win via decision, which comes at a better price than laying all of the vig on the flat line with the Australian.
