Eryk Anders has been fighting in UFC since 2017 and is 17-8 in his pro MMA career. His last outing saw him earn a TKO win over Chris Weidman in December 2024. Anders also scored a unanimous decision win over Jamie Pickett in March 2024 and will look for his third win in a row in this fight. Anders remains dangerous in the clinch and thrives in close quarters but he could struggle to get into those favorable positions against a fighter on the way up here.
Christian Leroy Duncan is a powerful striker with a switch stance. CLD entered the UFC with momentum after previously winning gold in Cage Warriors. He is 4-2 in his UFC career and is coming off a win in his last fight against Andrey Pulyaev. CLD’s two career UFC losses both came by decision and his toughness is unquestioned after avoiding stoppage losses to this point in the promotion.

Assuming Duncan implements distance control and lands on the counter with kicks and spinning strikes, I think he will dominate striking exchanges and control this fight.
I will take CLD to win this fight via decision, as Anders is tough enough to avoid being knocked out despite my expectation that Duncan will control the fight throughout.
