I’m not sure that I trust either of these starting pitchers given that they are both recently returned from injuries. But I do think that Nestor Cortes has earned the benefit of the doubt more than DeSclafani. I’ll take the Padres to get a win on the road here and to win this three-game set before moving onto another opponent.
