Your pick would then be successful or unsuccessful depending on his actual point total at the end of the night.

The best part about Higher/Lower Contests is that, unlike parlays, you can still receive a payout if one or more of the picks is incorrect if you choose to “insure” your picks.

For instance, if you placed an insured wager on a seven-leg parlay, you would quadruple your initial stake if you got six of your seven picks correct. The only downside of an insured bet is that the payout is much less for a parlay in which all of the individual picks are winners.
