- Michigan is 2-1 and lost their only real test of the season to the Oklahoma Sooners in Week 2. The Wolverines are back on the road for this game and will look to prove that they can beat power conference competition for the first time during this campaign.
- Nebraska is 3-0 to start the season, but they have yet to play any serious competition. The best win of Nebraska’s season so far was a neutral-site win over Cincinnati and the Cornhuskers would certainly prove some doubters wrong with a win in this contest.

Bryce Underwood is the freshman quarterback for Michigan. He has shown promise both as a runner and passer. His dual-threat ability gives Michigan offensive flexibility and he enters this game with two touchdown passes and one interception. Nebraska’s Dylan Raiola has been sharp in non-conference play. He has eight touchdown passes and no interceptions going into this game. But this will be the toughest defense Nebraska has played so far.

Michigan struggled in their only real test of the year, but their defense should be able to get Dylan Raiola out of any sort of rhythm in this contest. Underwood won’t be great for the Wolverines. But he’ll be good enough, as Michigan should be able to win this game and cover the spread to move to 3-1 and hand Nebraska its first loss.
