The moneyline is baseball's primary market. It asks you to pick the winner, with the price reflecting each team's implied probability and the sportsbook margin.
Run lines are usually fixed at 1.5 runs. The favorite must win by two or more, while the underdog can win outright or lose by one run.
A total is an over/under on combined runs. Ballpark conditions, starting pitchers, bullpen availability and weather can all affect the number.
First-five markets focus on the starting-pitcher matchup. Props cover events such as strikeouts and home runs, while futures include the World Series and league pennants.

The San Francisco Giants and Pittsburgh Pirates open a three-game series Tuesday night at PNC Park, with first pitch scheduled for 6:40 p.m. EDT. And despite both teams having disappointing seasons, we should get a pretty fun pitching matchup to start the series. Logan Webb (8-8, 3.72 ERA) will get the start for San Francisco against Paul Skenes (9-11, 3.79 ERA), giving us a matchup between two of the better pitchers in the National League.

The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs will open a big NL Central series Monday night at Wrigley Field, with first pitch set for 6:40 p.m. CDT. Milwaukee comes into the series at 85-52 and sitting comfortably atop the division, eight games ahead of the 77-60 Cubs.
