Tennessee has 10 licensed online sportsbooks that are allowed to accept wagers statewide. These include a mix of well-known national brands and smaller operators, all approved to operate under Tennessee’s online-only sports betting system.
Each sportsbook offers its own combination of betting markets, app features, and promotions, which is why there’s no single option that works best for everyone. The sections below take a closer look at how these sportsbooks compare and what they offer Tennessee bettors.
BetMGM was one of the first sportsbooks to launch in Tennessee and remains one of the more established options in the state. The platform offers a wide range of betting markets across major professional and college sports, with a particular emphasis on prop bets and Same Game Parlays.
The BetMGM app is built for regular use, with live betting, ongoing promotions, and a layout that makes it easy to navigate between different markets. These features may appeal to Tennessee bettors who expect to place wagers consistently rather than only on major sporting events.
Caesars Sportsbook is a licensed betting app available in Tennessee, offering markets on major professional and college sports. The app is connected to the Caesars Rewards program, allowing betting activity to contribute to the same loyalty system used across Caesars-branded casinos and properties.
The app supports live betting and, for certain events, in-app streaming after a wager is placed, including some local and primetime NFL games.
FanDuel Sportsbook is a licensed betting app in Tennessee that offers a wide range of markets across professional and collegiate sports. The app is well known for how it handles Same Game Parlays, with built-in parlay builders that allow bettors to combine multiple outcomes from a single game in one place.
FanDuel also places a strong emphasis on live betting, with continuously updated odds and the ability to manage wagers as games are in progress. Features like Cash Out options on eligible bets are integrated directly into the betting interface, making it easier to adjust positions without leaving the app.
DraftKings offers one of the deeper betting menus available in Tennessee, with a heavy focus on player props, alternate lines, and long-term futures markets across professional and college sports.
In addition to standard game lines, bettors can find season-long wagers tied to major events such as the Super Bowl, World Series, and NCAA tournaments.
DraftKings also runs the Dynasty Rewards program, which tracks betting activity and assigns tier status within the platform. These features are built into an app designed for bettors who prefer having a wide range of wagering options available in one place.
Hard Rock Bet is operated by Seminole Hard Rock, the gaming and entertainment company behind the Hard Rock brand. The sportsbook app keeps things fairly straightforward, with a clean layout that surfaces featured games and common bet types without relying on layered menus or advanced builders.
Hard Rock Bet also runs recurring promotions tied to major events, including Daily Happy Hours and Overdrive Boosts on select games. These rotate throughout the week and appear directly within the app, making them easy to spot while browsing available wagers.
Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Tennessee in March 2023 after receiving approval from the state’s Sports Wagering Advisory Council. The app entered the market following a short beta testing period and became fully available statewide through mobile-only wagering.
Fanatics Sportsbook integrates betting with the broader Fanatics ecosystem, including FanCash rewards, which can be earned through sportsbook activity and applied toward Fanatics merchandise.
The app also includes Fair Play protection on eligible player prop bets, offering refunds when a player is injured early in a game and cannot continue.
Bally Bet is operated by Bally’s Corp., which relaunched the sportsbook after updating its underlying technology in 2023. The current version of the app reflects that reset, with a more stable platform compared to earlier iterations.
The app offers round-the-clock customer support through live chat and includes a Parlay Zone that groups together popular multi-leg betting options for easier access.
Overall, Bally Bet keeps things fairly straightforward, focusing on usability and support rather than layering in a large number of advanced tools.

bet365 also offers in-app live streaming on eligible events, allowing bettors to follow games while placing wagers. Alongside that, the sportsbook regularly runs profit boosts tied to specific matchups or leagues, which rotate based on the sports calendar throughout the year.
theScore Bet is operated by PENN Entertainment and is built around the same sports media app many bettors already use to follow games. In Tennessee, the sportsbook is presented as a mobile betting app that blends wagering with live scores and game updates.
Rather than separating betting from game tracking, theScore Bet places odds, stats, and live information side by side. This setup makes it easy to check scores or player stats and place bets from the same screen, especially during live games.
VIP Play launched in Tennessee in May 2025, entering the market as a smaller sportsbook alongside more established national operators. The app is available statewide and keeps its overall feature set relatively focused.
VIP Play offers weekly sweepstakes-style competitions tied to betting activity and includes a VIP Players Club that tracks ongoing engagement. These programs are part of the regular betting experience rather than one-time sign-up offers, giving the platform a more steady, recurring rewards structure.
